Process a Challenging Life Experience
through Illustrating, Writing and Acting Your Story.
- Are you looking for an opportunity to tend to an unhealed wound?
- Do you have a story of transformation that you would like to process through art, drama and creative writing?
- Would you like to write a new ending to an old story?
- Are you looking for support in addressing a difficult experience through a creative, therapeutic lens?
Join us for an eight-session workshop. Share an experience of a major life transition, stories of personal transformation, loss, triumph or any story that is held on your mind and heart.
Each participant will receive their own blank, hardcover book that you will work on in our workshop and at home. This practice will be through the lens of expressive arts and drama therapy. We will be using collage, paint, oil pastel and other expressive arts tools.

As a psychotherapist and group facilitator, I have experience in working with individuals, couples, and families of all backgrounds. My goal is to create a safe space for my clients to explore their inner process and achieve personal transformation. I am trained in traditional psychotherapy as well as mindfulness, drama, somatic movement, and visual arts therapies. I view every negative or positive experience as an opportunity for growth, healing and discovering the beauty that life has to offer in the face of sometimes traumatic events.
My special interests are in working with issues around relationships, parenting, sexuality, and cultural diversity. I have experience working with clients that are going through family crisis, with children of parents that are going through divorce and relational issues, individuals seeking partnership, clients that are looking for a career change, clients with a history in abuse and trauma, spiritual crisis, LGBTQ community and more.
My work is supervised by Armand Volkas, MFT, RDT/BCT (MFC# 28789).
